Mascara

As far as mascara up goes, to know what products you want to buy really depends on what kind of look you're going for.  Some women like a natural look where the makeup only accentuates their features.  Others like a more dramatic approach.  For the ones who prefer to keep it simple, I suggest products such as "Great Lash" mascara from Maybelline NY (and for those of you who know me, know that I will be suggesting a lot of Maybelline products..lol) Great Lash is really good if you don't want or need a whole lot of volume. If you do need more length and/or volume, or if you like the dramatic look, the best mascara that I've tried (and I still refuse to use anything else) is Maybelline NY "Falsies". It's truly phenomenal mascara..but beware..it takes a few coats, and some patience to get the look you want.  If you have the desire to have amazing lashes, it's worth it. Keep applying, and don't let it dry between coats.

  2. Hey Jenn!! :) For a more natural look, you can get by with 2, but I suggest 3, which is the norm. For a natural look, follow everything below, with the exception of the the highlighting stick. As far as which colors go where, you wanna start out on your lid with a neutral color or medium shade. If you go darker on your lid, it could make your eyes look smaller. But it is possible to get away with a dark shadow on the lid if you're going really dramatic. The darkest shade needs to go in the crease, extending just a little outside the corner of your eye (smoky effect)and blending upward to about halfway between the crease and brow. Above that (right under your brow) will be the lightest color, and it's best to use a highlighting stick or pencil, and apply along the natural curve of the bottom of your brow. Blend all 3 colors slightly with the fingertip of your ring finger to ensure there are no visible lines. Thanks girlie!! love ya!!
